Streetfishing at l''Ile Saint Louis in front of Notre Dame, Paris

Paris and the Parisian region are the time of my first small retractable Daiwa fishing rod, my first reel, and my first membership card to the Paris Fishermen's Federation. It was cool.

I lost quite a few lures in the Seine, especially around the slipway on the Île de la Cité in front of Notre Dame. I have several stories that would interest kids and parents who, like my father, struggled to find new fishing spots.
